The integration reads the shared transcript, including its timestamps and speaker labels when available,
so you can trace important points back to the conversation.

A shared transcript. Your question. An answer you can trace.
In Clipto, open a transcript, select Share, and copy the link. Use only share links you are allowed to use.
Add Clipto to your AI service once (see Set up), then paste the link with your question in a chat.
Check the answer against the shared transcript. Use any available timestamps to find the relevant passages.
Add Clipto once, then paste any transcript share link into a chat. No Clipto account or sign-in is required.
Start a new chat and paste a Clipto share link with your question.
The integration reads only the transcript at the link you provide. It does not search your broader Clipto account, create new recordings, or change or delete shared content.
A share link is sufficient for transcript access; a recipient does not need to connect a Clipto account for this workflow.
Transcripts may contain recognition errors. Check important names, dates, quotes, decisions, and action items against the shared transcript. If you can access the original recording, use it to verify key details.
When you submit a share link through a supported AI service, Clipto returns the linked transcript text, timestamps, and available speaker labels to that service for your request. Share only content you are authorized to process there. The receiving service may handle this data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Make sure it is a full Clipto transcript share link (it starts with https://www.clipto.com/apps/transcription/share/) and that sharing is still turned on for that transcript. Links that have been unshared can no longer be read.
Check that Clipto is turned on in the chat's tools menu, then ask again, for example: “Use Clipto to read this transcript: [Clipto share link]”.
No. The integration reads only transcripts available through a share link that you paste into the chat.
Yes, but very long transcripts may exceed what the AI service can process in one conversation. If an answer seems incomplete, ask about a specific section or time range.
